Today’s DeSoto Appeal features MSCA’s Jane Shenks (mother of Ronnie Shenks and DC Comics artist Dave Beaty) and her sister-in-laws Becky White and Rosa Alford. The trio recently started a new candy business by becoming a Candy Bouquet franchise. The Southaven Candy Bouquet started up in August and serves most of DeSoto County, . . . The publisher’s October solicitations, released this week, reveal that Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam will end with Issue 21 and Batman: The Brave and the Bold with Issue 22.
