Hungry for cartoons? MSCA Dinner Meetings 1st Thursday of each month!

The next MSCA Monthly Dinner Meeting is this Thursday, December 1st at the U of M Garibaldi’s Pizza on Walker Avenue near Highland and Southern. Dinner meetings start at 7PM and run until 9-10PM, or until Garibaldi’s employees start turning off lights on us and locking up! Guest speakers usually start around 8pm.

The art show is afoot!

This October MSCA member Lin Workman will trade his usual black and white “monsterpiece” portraits for the many faces of Sherlock Holmes.

“Elementary: The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes” art show will run from October 15th-31st at Theatre Memphis.

Artist reception is October 20th from 6-8pm and is open to the public.

On the road again…

Some of the MSCA/Memphis Mafia will be making a road trip up I-55 to attend the 4th Annual Cape Comic Con on April 25-26 in Cape Girardeau, MO. It’s a small show, but a lot of fun- and is only about 2 1/2 hours from Memphis, and not too far from Lambert’s Cafe- in fact, . . .
