This October MSCA member Lin Workman will trade his usual black and white “monsterpiece” portraits for the many faces of Sherlock Holmes. “Elementary: The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes” art show will run from October 15th-31st at Theatre Memphis. Artist reception is October 20th from 6-8pm and is open to the public. . . . Looking for something fun to do on Friday night? There will be an art show on Friday, December 11, 2009, at the studio of Adam Shaw featuring some of his art in a show titled “The Heidi Series.” There will also be other artists on display, so be sure you show up! Sam discussed how he got into cartooning, writing for “Hagar The Horrible”, and sending cartoons to the syndicates and magazines. After I saw the . . .
