First up at 8 a.m., Kelly Brother will speak to us about 901creatives!  I think the group is a great network for members of the Mid-South Cartoonists Association!

Next is Julia Lovel who will speak to us about Chronocomics, a website that will pair comic artists with sponsors!  You can also read more about them in The Commercial Appeal’s Feature Section (click here).

If any members would like to speak at the dinner meeting, please e-mail Kevin the Prez.

You can also see some images from the Sivads of March and a 1971 live appearance Sivad made at www.muleythemule.com.

Well, gang, we all love a visit to the museums (right?), so I grabbed a card at the Brooks Museum while visiting the Sivads of March event and here’s what they show for 2010:

Now until May 9:  Venice in the Age of Canaletto

June 26 – September 26: Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History 1955 to Present

October 15 – January 9, 2011: William Christenberry: Photographs 1961 – 2005

The Brooks Museum of Art is located at 1934 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104 in Overton Park.
