Drawing Inspiration: From Idea To Reality Art Show at the DAC

To celebrate it’s 25th Anniversary the MSCA will be heading down to Hernando, MS for a joint art show this winter with the DeStoto Arts Council.

FEBRUARY 11 – MARCH 31, 2012
“Drawing Inspiration” Art Show- Cartoons & Fantasy Art
Featuring Mid-South Cartoonists Association
with special concept art display from “Starcraft II” artists.

This will be similar our Process Revealed and Are Cartoons Art? art shows a few years back which were both a big success. This show will be held at the DAC’s new location in Hernando- which is next door to their old location, just much bigger!

NEW BANKS HOUSE GALLERY AND GIFT SHOP LOCATION
DeSoto Arts Council – 564 W. Commerce Street, Hernando, MS

The show will be in the Banks House’s two front parlors and runs concurrent with DAC’s Winter Show.

Opening Reception & Art Demonstrations
FEBRUARY 11, 2012: 5 – 7 pm

To get to the art house from Memphis head south on HWY 51 or I-55 to Hernando, MS. Turn right onto Commerce Street. The Banks House mansion is on the right at the corner of Commerce and Elm Street, just past the library- about a few blocks west of HWY51 and the Hernando Courthouse Square.

Gallery hours are Thursday – Saturday 10AM  -5PM. Gallery closed for the holidays December 24, 2011 – January 05, 2012.
