JETTA: GREAT BOOK, SUPER QUALITY
There is a new review online of Martheus Antone Wade’s “Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa–Defiance” written by Alex Miller and posted on “SimplyJD Online’s Weekly Comic Reviews!” The book is printed by Shooting Star Comics (the site offers a presale of the comic book), and the review makes one point I never thought of myself: It’s a great value for a comic of this quality art and story to be 80 pages and only $6.95! The one thing he DID forget to mention is what I consider one of the greatest parts of the story: delving into the mind of Jetta and being able to read her thoughts and feel her emotion. Hardly ever have I felt the inner turmoil of a character between the rights and wrongs of the world and that character’s life, and in Jetta’s stories you get that chance. Visit the link above to see the entire review, and be sure to ask your comic book store(s) to carry this title and let’s support our friend Antone! This book is available in April 2005, just after MidSouth Con 23, and Jetta is part of an Anthology#8 due out in June 2005.
