Well gang, it’s almost time to meet again. The next MSCA dinner meeting is 12/6/01 at The Memphis Pizza Cafe in Overton Square. Meeting starts around 7:00pm and goes until 9:00pm or so. Bring a few bucks to order off the menue. (Dinner meetings are the first Thursday of each month.)

The next MSCA quarterly meeting will be held at The Art Dept. on 12/15/01 from 10:00am until 1:00pm. (The Art Dept. is on Highland near the U of M and Southern Ave.) We will be discussing the recent Halloween art show, giving the MSCA a face lift, new officers, the 2002 Cartooniversity, upcoming members’ projects, and more.

If you get the chance, check out two really great art shows in the Memphis area. There is the ‘Art of Dr. Seuss’ at the Dixon Gallery on Park Ave. until 1/20/02 (Tue-Sun). The other is a Warner Bros. animation exhibit at the Brooks Gallery in Overton Park off Poplar Ave. until 1/13/02 (Tue-Sun). Both are great CARTOON art shows!
